Ingest, edit, or archive your media footage on Windows 10, 8, and 7 systems, as well as Mac OS X 10.5 and later systems that support 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 (USB 3.1 Gen 2) or Thunderbolt 3 using the Blackjet VX-2SSD USB 3.1 Type-C RAID Enclosure from Atech. It is equipped with a USB 3.1 Type-C interface and dual 2.5" SATA III 6 Gb/s drive bays that support 7mm and 9.5mm SSDs. The Blackjet VX-2SSD uses a hardware controller to drive RAID 0, for those who need maximum performance without any data redundancy, or RAID 1, for those who need 1:1 data redundancy and mirroring, at the cost of speed and capacity. For those who do not require a RAID, JBOD is also available and is configured to act as independent disks or volumes. Included are a USB 3.1 Type-C to USB 3.1 Type-C cable, a power adapter, and a RAID selector pin. Protection is provided by a limited 1-year warranty.
