Viprinet 802.11 B/G/N WLAN CLIENT Module

The 802.11 B/G/N WLAN CLIENT Module enables all modular Viprinet Multichannel VPN Routers to utilize an already existing WLAN infrastructure. WLAN is a mobile telecommunications standard that supports higher bandwidths than mobile radio, so it is often used when wired networks are unavailable or difficult to connect to. With this module, an available WLAN infrastructure can be added as a bonding medium for the first time. By that, mobile data and WLAN links can be combined to create a highly reliable connection e.g. during events or on public busses.

This module supports the 2.4 GHz standard and can contribute up to 150 Mbps to a bonded link. Two SMA jacks can be used to connect this module to an external MIMO antenna, ensuring sufficient reception even under challenging conditions.

Please note: This module will only work in combination with RuggedVPN firmware.
